Another first for Cheese Matters.

A recent trade deal between the UK and Australia has meant we are now able to export raw milk cheeses into Australia. With this news, Cheese Matters sought to arrange air freight for the very first shipment out there.

“It seems like an age ago I remember Will Studd telling me he was going to get raw milk UK cheeses into Australia" said John - indeed it was, this process started over 15 years ago. Fast forward to 2022, and the torch was finally lit, when Jason Gale of Calendar Cheese placed their first order with Neal's Yard Dairy for an array of raw milk cheeses.

The lucky cheese connoisseurs of Australia can now experience such masterpieces as Kirkham’s Lancashire, and Appleby Cheshire. "It’s great" said John "all that effort and time has finally paid off. Hopefully the next wild idea won’t take so long to reach fruition!"

We love bringing cheese makers and cheese connoisseurs around the world together, making sure Cheese Matters, everywhere!
